The Queensland Ice Racing Association (QIRA) is the official state administrative body responsible for the management, safety, and strategic direction of ice racing across Queensland. We establish competitive standards, support sanctioned club growth, and ensure our sporting community operates with total fairness and transparency. Through rigorous oversight and active state leadership, we pave a secure, structured path for our athletes from local ice rinks to the national stage.

By lowering barriers to entry and championing the unique energy of our sport, we are building a vibrant, lasting winter sports culture right here in Queensland

The Queensland Government is proud to provide funding for the Queensland Ice Racing Association to get more Queenslanders active through sport and recreation.
